Flowering Branches

In the scenery of spring,
nothing is better, nothing worse;
The flowering branches are
of themselves, some short, some long.

 I was a little hesitant about posting this photograph because I thought it was too dark and also I thought the background was too distracting.  I'd love to hear some feedback if you're so inclined.  Love it? Hate it?  Or is it "just okay"?

It is so wonderful seeing the trees blooming...they really are beautiful.  The ornamental pear trees are always the first to make an appeareance, and my allergies start right on cue lol.

We have forsynthia blooming as well as our tulip tree bush (Susan magnolia).  It's way too windy and cold out this afternoon for a photo shoot.  I much prefer sitting here in my comfy fleece pants and sweatshirt and hope for warmer weather this weekend :)
